This is an angel from the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. This angel is inside the Exploratorium because she is so fragile. Other angels sit ontop of columns under the dome. This is what is left from the Pan American exposition of 1915? The angel above is believed to be the co form used to cast the angels after a philanthropists in the 1960's put up the funds to refurbish the building, as the original exhibition was made of plaster and very fragile. If you get a chance to go to SF you must go to the Exploritorium. It is a scientific feast and there are lots of buttons to push for the kids!!!

Okay, I didn't make this today, nor did I make the tiger yesterday, but i have been making so much stuff the past weeks... I actually sat down and watched a movie today without painting while doing so!!! It was a film called "the Libertine" with Johnny Depp and John Malkovich.
great acting, costumes and sets, but the story is not for the faint of heart. Wednesday I am going up north to visit my mum. I will post once more before I leave then I shall resume when i get back with all the faces I dothis next week.

This is a funny photo from the stairs looking down on all the work I have put together for my show at New Frontier's in Solvang that I hang on Sunday. I am so tired and I still have lots of writing to do. I'm very pleased though with this body of work and have many, many ideas still to work on!!!

Finally i am able to post an image!!! I have been very busy these past few weeks preparing for a show at New Frontiers in Solvang, CA. I hang the "show"on July 22, 2007 and it's up until aug. 18th. I have made a few faces for that show as well as some assemblages, collages etc...
