This is an angel from the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. This angel is inside the Exploratorium because she is so fragile. Other angels sit ontop of columns under the dome. This is what is left from the Pan American exposition of 1915? The angel above is believed to be the co form used to cast the angels after a philanthropists in the 1960's put up the funds to refurbish the building, as the original exhibition was made of plaster and very fragile. If you get a chance to go to SF you must go to the Exploritorium. It is a scientific feast and there are lots of buttons to push for the kids!!!
