"Angie"
Acrylic
5" x 7"
If you haven't noticed by the past faces, I've been studying Picasso. He had an incredible way with line-a huge impact with emotion with the greatest simplicity and economy of line. I am learning a lot and mostly he makes me embrace the work itself rather than the outcome. I struggle to complete one image while he whipped them out in such profusion. He is the one who said, "Great art is 5% talent and 95 % work" (paraphrased). I am not as enamored with his later work as much as I am with his early stuff. If I could paint like he was when he was 15, I would be very satisfied, or would I be?
